The original drawing from which the Webwizards logo was taken. The graphic design process shown here is the same process used in all of our designs.
Is starts with an idea, and then develops into a unique design which will become your own website. Your website is your shop window where everyone can see what you do and where in the market your business sits.
Obviously, you would like your business to be regarded in the best possible light, and you would like to stand alongside your competitors and present your business on a level playing field.
Take a look at our Web Design and Graphic Design portfolios to see examples of our work. This same high standard of design ability is applied to every website we create.
Our Wizard logo started life as a child's drawing.
The original figure was drawn by a nine year old girl who's favourite TV show was 'Tracey Beaker', so she sketched some of the characters from the show. The original sketch was out of proportion and had little detail, but there was something instantly appealing about the face.
We decided to dress our wizard in the style of Mickey Mouse in Disney's 'Fantasia', so we re-drew the body with a cloak and hat, a-la Mr. Mouse. We decided that, since she would be a small child, her wizard's robes would be a bit too big for her, like many kids whose clothes are roomy enough to grow into later!
The figure was fleshed out with new hands and a wand, and then finally colour was added, and presto! A brand new design concept; original, unique and fresh.
Webwizards applies the same philosophy to every website we build, we take your ideas for your website and create something new and fresh.
At the outset, we will ask you to show us some websites that you like, and some that you dislike; this gives us a pretty good idea of what you want from your own website. From there, we will create storyboards, sitemaps, sketches and anything else to aid the design of your pages, and offer you some design options. Once that's done, we're off and running!
We will build your website according to the design you choose; you are free to change your mind at any time during this process though. If you decide you would like different colours, no problem! You are in the driving seat; the overall look and feel of your website will be dictated by your own tastes, but if you would rather 'leave it to the experts', that's fine too.
At webwizards, we are confident that we can produce the right website for your business, and at the right price too !
